Hi I’m Kristin, the owner and an instructor for Sky Blue Aquatics, a company dedicated to teaching Cayman residents the importance of water safety and swimming skills.
Teaching swimming lessons in Cayman for the past 11 years has enabled me to amass an enormous toolbox of skills to help teach clients of all ages to swim & handle themselves safely in the water.
I have loved the water my whole life and I chose my career in swimming as it was a perfect fit with my love for children, my passion for swimming, and my competitive drive. With this, I used my degree in Business Management to build Sky Blue Aquatics into an elite swim school with the best and most certified instructors on island.
Teaching a life skill every day in this gorgeous environment is a dream come true. There is nothing more valuable than teaching a skill like swimming that opens doors to increased self-confidence & competence in any body of water.
My swimming philosophy is “I believe that to teach a child to swim, you must first earn their trust and respect. With their trust, you can teach them to feel comfortable and safe in the water and with their respect you can teach them the fundamentals of swimming.”

Hi! My name is Tracy Semple, I am from Scotland’s beautiful west coast. After spending 8 years in Bermuda, I moved to Cayman and I am loving it!
I am well experienced in teaching all ages from infants to adults. Teaching swimming has always been a true passion of mine, not only does it offer many health benefits and make families safer, but it’s also fun! My teaching style is always safety first with lots of fun games and activities to help yourself or your child to learn at a great pace suited to your individual needs.
I am a friendly, very approachable, and bubbly swim teacher, where the progression and skills of your child or yourself are my utmost priority. I am excited to be part of the Sky Blue team and can’t wait to introduce you or your little ones to the world of water!

Tori is a swimming instructor from the UK who, after spending some time in the Caribbean as part of her degree, is super excited to be back in this beautiful part of the world!
Over the past 7 years she has gained experience in teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities, using fun and informative methods whilst creating and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment.
She has experience working with children with different physical, social and emotional needs both in and out of the water. She works with you to understand your child’s needs, and can adapt lessons and practices to ensure safety, enjoyment and progression.
With a background in Synchronised Swimming and having coached her own team of ‘mermaids’, this is a passion she is always keen to pursue. If your child wants to give it a go, she is always more than happy to give them a taste of this incredible sport!

Marcelina is from the beautiful country of the Philippines where, much like Cayman, has a lot of beautiful beaches. She just recently moved here and has never felt more at home.
She has experience as a swimming coach in Thailand, where she gained not just students and parents but a family too. She works hard to ensure parents that their children will not only have fun but gain confidence being in the water. She is able to teach in a fun play based manner and a safe environment.
She is very excited to showcase her passion for swimming and she is looking forward to sharing her knowledge. One thing she knows is to make sure everyone is having fun!!
